SO is this cottage the new house your parents bought? Unfortunately I can't visit you but you'll have to take pictures. This is so typical of you though Miss Romantic-Idealistic Elise, living in some remote Island. Write a book. I miss you and your quirky ways. You'll have to come down and visit for a while. What about Camp Frenda/Frenzy/Friendly (whatever it was called)??

Hey guys!!! THanks for commenting! It seems the net slows down after school ends. I miss you all!  Hey Erica- I'm all set up to work at Camp FRENDA..hehe...I'll be in the horse barn working with the peeps there.  I just might write a book... it's very romantic and inspiring here. And I've kept myself updated by reading Lucy Maud's Tales by the Sea. Hey Scott I'd love to keep in touch but we only have a cell phone and it's crazy expensive :( . Keep blogging though and you can e-mail me...I check them twice a week at the library. Of course I will come down and visit you guys as soon as I can... which would be late August, methinks. ps: thunderstorms on the lake are brutal....there's one right now as I type...the power already shut down once. I can see the lake out the window ahead of me. Outside the waves are huge and noisy but the air smells so YUMMY!!!!!

Scott! Poor you! If you need inspiring-place suggestions: You should get some friends, rent a campsite at Rockwood Provincial Park (near Guelph) and go camping for a weekend or something! Rockwood is closer to you and probably more fitting to your budget..and it looks just like manitoulin when you get there!!! Don't be too jealous. Manitoulin has it's bad side too (no malls or theatres less than an hour away from this town), the payphones don't take quarters, there are no people my age, it rains and is foggy almost every morning, and the skunks... lol. Anyway see you later!

Elise, I was thinking that you should write a book, OR BETTER YET music for our band. I mean, what a better place to write then in the middle of nature. Unfortunately I am not a nature chick like that (cottages and such) I am more a ponder by the ocean girl, and totally a city person. But I would love to come and visit. It must be comforting at times and it takes you away from the real world.

I knew it was camp Frenda that you were working at but it looked weird to type so I thought it may be something else. I miss you tons, keep emailing and COMMENTING.....LOL blessings,
